- we evaluate university research and development outcomes in terms of their commercial potential
- we provide their protection where useful
- we cooperate with industry to ensure further development of these results, their commercialization and utilization
At the same time, we support the development of innovations by setting up start-up and spin-off companies and cultivating this community in our own Point One business incubator.
The Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer is a university department of the CULS facilitating the cooperation with commercial sector in the Czech Republic and abroad. Our mission is to be a bridge between the academic and business sphere. We provide services to all, who wants to use the expertise and inventions of our scientists and researchers.
The transition to a knowledge-based economy raises the role of university intellectual property, which is a driving force in innovation and has an impact on the competitiveness of the local economy.
